Clay Play Camp offers children the chance to get hands-on experience working with the magical medium of clay with Denver potter, Jessa Decker-Smith.
We will do a variety of projects letting the kids explore many aspects of pottery-making including hand-building, coil-building, slab-building, texture, clay manipulation and addition, decorating, glazing and more. Participants will also get to see the process of making wheel-thrown pottery and try their hand at it!
Finished pieces will be fired and returned to participants after camp. All clay, tools, glaze materials, and firings will be provided. No experience necessary!
